Child of the Sand Captured in the heart of Sossusvlei, Namibia, during the filming of AZÉ: A Zodiac Èxperience, this moment arrived in between takes—when the wind danced, and the dunes spoke in tongues of time. Exhausted but connected, I sat to breathe after a long day of embodying the air signs, Aquarius, Gemini and Libra— I came face-to-face with my other self many of my selves. The air was playful, the sand stung my eyes, and my expression caught it all—laughter, grit, surrender. I was one with the Earth, listening to the ancestors’ whispers wrapped in desert wind.

Together We Rise: Shot in Dead Vlei, Sossusvlei—a place where ghost trees hold centuries of silence—this image emerged from the Fire sequence of AZÉ: A Zodiac Èxperience. Alongside Owen and Roma, we stood among the stillness, channeling rebirth and resurrection. We became desert spirits, rising from ash and dust. Our bodies, wrapped in black, gave life to land thought barren. Together, we remembered what it means to be rooted, to burn, and to bloom again.
Blood on the Leaves Filmed in the raw stillness of Namibia, this piece from AZÉ: A Zodiac Èxperience is rooted in reverence. My body was adorned in Otjize, the sacred red clay worn by the Himba people to protect and preserve. Ericke Tjiueza, a descendant of the Himba tribe, applied it to my skin with care. I was also bleeding—on my period—and every tree trunk I touched absorbed part of me. Earth and body merged. We didn’t know where the Otjize ended and my blood began. It was sacred. It was serendipity. I became part of Namibia that day—unfiltered, unhidden, whole.
One with the Sea Shot on the Namibian coast at the feet of the Atlantic during AZÉ: A Zodiac Èxperience, this was one of the hardest scenes to capture. The water was 12 degrees, the tide wild, and I was naked—vulnerable to the pull of the ocean. Every wave felt like a memory returning. Like the sea was trying to reclaim me, carry me back to ancestry. I trembled, I surrendered, and in that moment I understood: the ocean does not take without giving. It was angry, It stripped me to soul, then offered light in return. Respect isn’t a big enough word.
